The Bonsack Preschool Consignment is an all-season sale. Shoppers visit our sale looking for high-quality children's items at affordable prices. Here is a list of items we accept and those we do not. If there is something that you want to sell, but you're not sure if it's acceptable, please email us.

Reminder: If you are unsure whether an item is appropriate for the sale, ask yourself: would I be excited to purchase this myself? If yes, there's a good chance it belongs in our sale.

Items We DON'T Accept

To maintain the quality, safety, and reputation of our sale, some items cannot be accepted. Please review the following guidelines before investing time in pricing and tagging your items.

Not Accepted Due to Condition

  • Clothing with:

    • Stains​

    • Holes, tears, or missing buttons

    • Excessive fading or wear

    • Strong odor including smoke or mildew

    • Broken zippers or damaged fasteners

  • Shoes with:​

    • Excessive sole wear​

    • Holes, tears, or peeling material

    • Lost shape or structural support

    • Excessive dirt

  • Toys, Books, & Games that are:​

    • Broken or missing pieces​

    • Incomplete

    • Damaged

    • Happy meal toys, birthday party favor style toys, prize box toys

Categories Not Accepted

  • Maternity Clothing

  • Junior clothing

  • Adult clothing

  • Used undergarments

  • Breast pumps and pump parts

  • Most stuffed animals

    • Exception: Squishmallows​

    • Stuffed animals that are part of an electronic toy or interactive set

Not Accepted Due to Safety

  • Items recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission

  • Items suspected of containing prohibited level of lead or phthalates

  • Expired car seats or those involved in an accident

  • Baby equipment missing required straps or safety components

  • Cribs manufactured before July 23, 2010

Reminder: Consignors are responsible for verifying that their items have not been recalled and meet current safety standards. Visit www.cpsc.gov for current recall and crib safety information.
